What is Content Management?
By Anna Tarrant @ 11:02 PM :: 265 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Introduction to Websites

Content Management Software (CMS) allows the content of a website to be edited by someone with no technical web editing experience.  Our Content Management offers a simple user interface (similar to the editing tools available in MS Word) that allows the user to change the content of a website without having to worry about structural and layout implications.

In8 have constucted a short CMS demonstration, which you can watch here.

Our content management system is .Net (server) based, which means that you don't need to install any software onto your PC in order to use it.  You simply log into the website you wish to edit and you are then able to make changee, provided you have the relevent admin permissions.

This means that you can delegate the ability to edit your website to other team members, and limit what they can edit down to page or even individual element level.  For example, you may want to allow your Project Manager to login and edit their project page ONLY.  This is very possible with In8!

Contact us for more information, or for a  one-to-one demonstration of our content management.
